flywheel machined - 50
swivel hub rebuild - 150
rear hubs and axles drilled out to take 100 series studs - 250

2800 for 84 fj60 with rego. rwc free at work.
i do all work on my car so its cheap as really.

reco'd diffs $300 tops
$200 fixing oil leaks and other little things.
$200 tops for SOA.
new simex 35's free, swaped a motor
$200 for rims.
shockers free.
304 $900 with lots of stuff i will sell.
$2000 in machine and parts for rebuild.
$900 for cnvertion gear when i get it.
gas research set up $500 with rebate.
thats it i think? still need to make rear ladder bar and repaint the shell in spots, but will all be done by me

so around $7500 to 8000

$65,000 to build it in 1994
Around 30,000 in mods and developement since.
Another 10,000 to go to see it finished.

As I've travelled 95,000k in it I don't think that's a lot. Around $120.00 per week since we built it.

Probably worth $30,000 now.

i bought my 02 D22 navara last october for $25,500, havent done a huge amount to it yet, new cooper ST's $1200, wound up the front for free. And thats it so far..

Give me another year and i bet ill be a bit more in debt lol..
would like steel tray, 2" bodylift, 2" suspension lift all round, 16 x 8" rims, steel front bar, sliders, snorkel..

Ha current build is costing about 22G so far.

I have the vehicle and every single mod/accessorie I need except rock lights a rear bar and an air compressor.

Only thing is none of it is on the vehicle yet :oops:

I am allowing 25G thats for a full locked lifted accessoriesed rangie on 37" tyres with almost everything.

I just did a spread sheet on my Sierra. Bad Idea...

At the moment it's not so bad, bout $4500 in it, on 33's locked rear... including original car purchase price...

but after I install the parts sitting on my floor (Power steer, cromo axles, air locker & compressor, rear disconnect, etc) bout $7800 :shock:

Then full DOM 6point cage, f&r barwork, sliders & winch after that. :x

Bought for $1800 worth of loose change that i throw in a bucket every day.

Welded rear diff $0

Wheeling the piss out of it with no brakages so far in the past 6 months= Priceless.

And it hasnt failed getting anywhere i want to go yet since welding the rear.

made a rough estimate of just all the consumables, (not actual parts), like grinding disks, welding rods, drill bits, cans of paint, etc etc etc etc etc, they are well over $2000. Bunnings must luv all of us!

a new ST cab chassis cost $52k before you even start on mods and if you fit the best of everything sometimes twice after you brake it, then it not hard to spent that sort of money,and no i havnt rolled it just lots of damage from driving canyons and creek beds
