People really need to start taking responsibility for their lives and the people around them. Its not hard to drive slow through the camp grounds at Landcruiser and take a bit more care of the other people who have paid to enjoy the weekend.

People have been so inconsiderate the last 2 years up there and its getting worse. EVERYONE has to take note that there are young family's around and parents cannot always keep their kids on a leash up there.

I'm 21 and i wanna drive fast and be an idiot but i do it where no one else can be hurt and keep a safe distance from other people.

People need to take more care!

Jees, yep its well out of control at cruiser park, i drink rum and doesn't effect me like that, but alot of people it does, more attitude adjustments need to be handed out to these wankers, It seems noone will learn everytime i go there some dickhe*d is doing doughys and spraying trucks and people with rocks and dirt. Even people having a few drinks and driving around is not ideal or legal but has been done by most and doesnt seem to end in a punchup or accidents, It seems there is a new wave of people coming to these events. Doughnuts in the dirt doesnt impress me, especially when there single peggers Most of the time doing fast circles.

Everyone is out to have a good time and cause a little mayhem, me included. But theres limits when it comes to showering other peoples property in rocks and their kids, wives, partners etc etc etc, theres definately no need for machetes etc, nor punchups (possibly fair enough if your truck gets hit, cruiser park and any other park is not a nightclub, people need to handle their pis$, before events turn into alcohol free zones.

It's always the minority wrecking it for the majority.

All the best weavel, I hope the guy got a good attitude adjustment.

My only problem with all this is everyone knows the pigpen is the place where people can act like dickheads doing doughies etc. The park even tells you this, so simply if your unhappy with the wanker behaviour in there then leave and go to any of the other number of places in the park where that behaviour isnt tolerated.

Chasing someone down and bashing them doesnt sing out tough to me I put them in the same class as the f@rKwit that took a machete to Chris' head.

Its not that hard to leave when the wankers come out

I agree 100% Everyone knows about the pigpen, if you dont like it then dont go! Taking the law into your own hands is just as unlawful as the original crime. I didn't go to the pigpen, I stayed at my campsite with some mates, had a few beers and had a good time.

If thats directed at my comment, i agree 100% with you, and my comments were not talking about the pigpen but other gathering places etc.

Chasing someone down and giving them a touch up is by far the least mature thing to do, but it seems noone listens, noone cares about a bit of abuse/stern talking to, it becomes a joke around their campfire. I've never had a problem with anyone there ever, although i can see why some people doing nothing wrong get the sh*ts and it ends in violence(pigpen excluded). Although i've seen plenty of drama over something so petty, theres a fineline.

matyota80 no one deserves to be hit with a machete no matter what they may have done and by others posts in this thread chris had done nothing to this bloke.

I've met chris a few times and he's always been a top bloke.

As for you I have never met you but after that post don't think much of you. As I said no one deserves that crap happening to them.

mate you are a moron, and your friends are morons. they didnt see sh!t. and if thats what they said they saw, then they are dog lying c*nts too.

i was 5M away getting out of the car behind him, i watched chris get out of his car, walk around the tray and straight into the machete. he said nothing to the guy. we had no idea that it was even him.

i dont care what your personal promblems are with people on this site are, and niether does anyone else, but you need to seriously wake up to yourself if you think that not being mates with someone is just cause to say the deserve to be attacked like that.

you can never be told enough, YOU. ARE. A. F*CKING. FOOL.

chris is one of the best blokes i have had the fortune to meet.

he and i had an intense dislike of each other for a long time, then one night i was stuck out in the glasshouse mountains with a flat tyre and no spare. it was like 10 on a friday night, it was drizzling, and as i said we thought very lowly of each other.

he orgainsed himself and justin (forgot your username mate) to come out in justin's truck because chris' was off the road. so he has not only put himself out, but he has convinced a mate of his who has never even met me to come help us too.

ill not waste a good story like that on your stupid sub-human self, but the point is that chris had the decency to put him self deep in the shit to help someone that he was the opposite of mates with, and i belive that that speaks volumes of his character.

i believe that most people today have no concept of honour or the value of a mans word, i do, as corny as that sounds. but i dont care, thats what i believe, and in my eyes chris conducted himself with an honour that alot of people these days done even understand, let alone care about.

i should not even have to bother defending him to scum like you, but i have, more for the benefit of everyone else than your obviously braindead self.

p.s. i appologise if the mods think ive gone overboard, but im very angry at this little sh!t and some people just need to be told...

I have been goin to the park for just over 2 years now and my opinion is.
Anyone that wants to go out there get on the piss (cant handle there piss) and act like absloute d#&k heads need to wake up to themselves.
The last thing i and everyone else wants is for the police to be at every event held at the park and fining us for anything and everything. Or worse Alben & Helen shuting the park down because there sick of dealing with all the bullsh#%t thats been goin on lately.

Cheers Grub

Hooray  Hit the nail on the head !!!! Couldn't agree more its all the D#&k heads that will stuff it for everyone. I too have a few drinks at the events ( mid strength ) and have a couple of middies while out and about but i dont get smashed !!! wait till get back to camp to have a few serious drinks. But i can guarantee that some idiot will always fly through the camp ground !!! And nearly every idiot is a P plater. Sorry to all those P platers but the two cars that came trough our camp Saturday night were P platers. I didnt get out quick enough but the guy across from us managed to hit one of the cars with a can of beer. Good shot i thought

once again good luck with the scan and keep us posted.
The guy who got chased and touched up was doing doughnuts dangerously close to a crowd of people who asked him not quite so politley if he would mind ceasing this sillyness, he replied by launching a fishtail in front of them showering them and their vehicles with mud and rocks. So they raced after him managed to pull him over and dragged him, crying like a school girl, out of his car and proceeded to explain to him the error of his ways in a manner he would remember next time the need to do silly things overcame him. :D

i think it was a cruiser and the guys chasing were in hilux's.
this is what i heard out there. but by some posts it may be the guy who sprayed rocks on cars at pigpen. not sure off full story,

there is always 3 sides to every story. his , his , and the truth.
i am not connected to any off these incidents. but am concerned about the future of the park if this keeps happening.
only the first roll hurts, then its a ride..

He was driving either a white 73 middy or a bundy. The first incident was stupid and the touch up was probably a bit over the top but it hopefully drove it into the kids head.

Drove what in? That if he goes to a dedicated place in the park for stupidity and does exactly that someone will give him a hiding for upsetting them??

Sorry but I dont get it, its simple if people are acting the dickhead in there then leave. The pigpen has a long held reputation of people doing doughnuts and other stupid behaviour while others sit around on the piss cheering them on, sepecially on comp weekends. If you dont think thats your scene then dont go.

If old mate was doing it in the camp grounds then I may have a different opinion but I still dont condone a group of people chasing him and giving him a hiding.

I somewhat agree with Boof....but.....if the person doing donuts/driving stupid etc. takes no responsibilty for the people watching, or there trucks (ie. drifting very close to other trucks or the crowd) then they may deserve having a word to.

Most people park/watch on the outskirts of the pig pen at a safe distance away from the action. You should be safe to do this, but I've seen plenty of occasions when this is not the case (Aust. Day Weekend).
