Nice
Thats cool start at the bottom of the hill with leaf springs and once your at the top a bit of magic and you get 4x coils , i wana go up that hill :D

And a bullbar but lose your lights prety fair deal
 I never even noticed that, but hey your right, awesome photo posting skills!! "SELF FIVE!!"

I still had the lights, I just kept getting defected for them, and its the same bar, it just had some surgery :)
Probably the easiest and best looking mod I've done IMO.

I see someone else saw the same design I did too...

Great minds eh?

this is my ute currently, i havent done much to it yet, basicaly just the tyrese, removed the big arse box, and put in a cd player as it had a bung radio, extractors and a 2.5" exhaust that ends just at the back of the cab, i want to lengthan it now though lol

may have found a turbo for it, from a small 6 cyl cummins(although i dunno how small they come lol i always thought they were big) once i get the numbers and do the reserch, if it will suit, im going to put it in,

I thought I recognized that rig, you were up there with a guy I went to school with - he owns the Patrol and Discovery that you were in a photo with... Did he end up selling that dual cab Patrol yet?

Yes, looks good.

Though I'm not sure I'd like the exhaust so close to the driver door/window. Do you notice fumes from it?

i wouldnt say he would notice it much if at all, mine is in a fairly similar possition on the pasanger side, and when i sit in the pasenger side i dont notice it at all.

hey all,

my first post on here and after having a good look through the forum it seems i'll be happy here :)

i own a 1998 75 series cruiser ute (ex mine, but privately owned so it didn't get thrashed) with 237 xxx km on the clock, but she still runs sweet to me! dual tanks are win!

mods:
-steel bullbar/side steps/side bars (every 4wd should have these and not in bendy alloy!)
-uniden uh-088 sundowner w/9dB antenna (bit shit for bush work)
-rallye spotties/rear work lights
-double spare tyre carrier (right side was converted to a oxy/acetylene bottle carrier with hose reel)
-custom hi lift jack holder (on the towbar)
-5t rear recovery hook
-recently sandblast/painted tray (pic with no tray were when it was getting blasted)
-recently put in new front leaf packs (supposedly 2 inch lift)
-big 35 inch mudzillas (got 5 of them with only 100km on it for $1500! scrubbing issues, yep)
-3 inch tray lift
-bushranger max air 2 (mounted behind drivers seat)

mundaring powerline track
Image

dont know if i'd call it flex as the rear is so stiff from the 400kg constant rear leaves :(
Image
Image

old front leaf springs with the new 35's
Image
Image

at windy harbour with the new front leaf springs and tray lift
Image
Image

i'm after some more front lift, maybe another 2 inches or so (thinking 2 inch anti inversion shackles to gain 1 inch, and possibly a 1 or 2 inch body lift) and moving the diff forward an inch.

a few q's...

is a 2 inch body lift on the cruiser simple? any modifications need to be made?

also how exactly do you move the diff forward an inch? i've been told you redrill the spring perch, but i'm not sure how you'd go about it or the best way to get to it in terms of simplicity and time

cheers and thanks for having a looksie at my lil truck!

george.

hey mate the body lift is pretty straight forward. the only thing is ya gota cut the bottom out of the fan shroud thats it really. the floor around the gearstick needs as trim now that i think of it coz myne sometimes jumps outof reverse.
