Ok so far the not soo good points, There is a bit of sealant over the lense cover, Not an issue for me as its only a little bit. Second problem I have had so far is that because the casing is cast alloy Its really easy to strip the thread where the bracket mounts to the light as I just found out . I am working on a solution for this, I am trying thread lock at the moment but I would advise you use thread lock and dont over tighten. Edit...Turns out the bolt could have been 5mm longer so I found one I had lying around, problem fixed. Just moved the spotlight mounts on my bar and hit it with some new paint while I was at it. Should have it all done ready for my run up to kurri and back tomorrow so will post more later. Am I still happy with the light for $ spent? hell yeah

22" LED spot bar

I recieved my 44 inches of awesomness today in the mail. It arrived in first class condition thanks to Bushys excellent packaging. It will fit nicely across the top of the standard GU bar. I will post some pics up when i get something done about the mounts.

Oh yeah I did forget to mention the awesomeness of daves packing skills you could have posted a carton of eggs in that tube.

Mounted using a simple pair of UHF bullbar mounts, tweaked to make theft a fair bit harder.

Bushy, have you got any of your lights left, unsold? I have a couple of blokes at work interested, one in a 22 inch bar. And my daughter is interested in one for the front of her Charade. That one could be smaller, 12 inches or so.

No, but I like to see what I am going to hit. Driving 20km each way to work each day, at any time of the day or night, in central western Qld, dodging roos, cattle, ect, means I want to know whats in my way. And if I am heading back to my old house, which is 300km away, that also happens at any time of the day or night.

The centre spots are 100 watt halogen. The outer spots are HIDs, and then there is the light bar.

The only difference I have noticed since fitting the light bar, is my bonnet seems to flex, flutter, or bounce- whatever you want to call it- more than before. I assume its because the air flow to the stone deflector on the leading edge is now disturbed by the light bar.

Well now the old Charade has gone, in its stead is a Mazda2, which is getting a pair of Lightforce 170 HIDs, I have repossessed the 12 inch light bar, and its going on the rear of the Nissan as a reverse/camping light. The pair of 15 watt LED lights currently there are getting reincarnated as fog lights on my Vulcan 1600. The pic shows the first incarnation with only 1 15 watt LED light.

Hi zapt - welcome to the forum.

Your catalogue looks reasonably comprehensive - although some of the text looks like it's been translated by computer or something, and could do with a little more editorial input.

You've joined at a good time (for me) - I'm looking to replace some downlights in my kitchen. Can you supply beam angle and a lumens figure for your LEDs?

I'm also intrigued by your fluoro replacement LEDs. The catalogue says that the starter is removed - so the ballast stays in place?

thanks for feed back turps our site is in present of being redesigned and for price being a little high when you see the new design in person and feel the weight of products you will see why the price is what it is. The light bars all come with polycarbonate lens not toughened glass as most do. They are designed for mining equipment and thats why grade is so high. All the leds are cree if you are into led you will know at present cree is leading the industry in led. The leds are rated to 50,000 hours and the bar was been virbrattion tested from 24-2400hz IP68. the mounts have rubber inserts for shock absorbtion and every light bar kit comes with full wiring harness. Scotty the downlights are 60 degree angle which most you find will not be and are 9W. The lunens rating of those are 590Lm and can do them for you for $32.50. The tubes are a great retro fit solution your observation is correct just remove starters and insert tube. The light is completly different in that it is pure light alot of people find it 100 times better to work under and see there job at hand.
