Another update:

Have recieved confirmation that the RH are on their way, the body lift is complete, the chassis extention was started today, rims are finished and painted gloss black, spring packs have been prepared (loads taken out) and last of all transfer has been taken out ready for the hoppers.

Things are looking good at this stage, you never know I might just be ready for the 14th

Well apparently this is a build up thread for my zook. But it seems no one is aware of this because of lacking photo's. But it is kinda hard to get shots when my car is an hours drive away and I only have the push bike.

Update>>> Finally hit some problems!

The rims that where fliped have only worked for two of them. the other two warped and needed to be redone costing valuable time considering this needs to be ready next weekend.

The gears have not arrived at this stage but liam has confirmed that they are making the big trek across aus.

Last word i was given last night is that the extention had been welded on and just a few more wlds were needed to complete. Still need to form up some new hangers and move bumpstop and brake braket forward.

Hopefully tonight I can get the springs on and start to look at making new shock mounts.

Looks good mate.

Have you cut or drilled adequate drain holes in the chassis to let the water out?

The factory chassis end is not capped so that no moisture is trapped. Make sure if you put some holes in that they are big enough so as to not get blocked.

Lookin good though, keep those pics coming.

Man this is taking so long. Mental note to self, don't try do it in two weeks again!

Nicbeer that isn't a bash plate it is the fuel tank ;)

Still need to cut the crapper outer the guards to.

Man she looks fat.............................and you are an ugly Mofo :finger:

So is it drivable???

Gears arrived yet??

What are you cutting the guards with & in what style?

Still a few things holding me back from driving it like it has no transfer case in it. The gears still haven't arrived so it looks like I will be having a late night this week.

My kungfo style will be cut and slash, weapon of choise grinder. If that gets to messy I will try the jig saw.

You just going to take the fronts out of the guards or go full sick and cut everything, those rims are gunna wanna grab things everywhere.

I say remove the WT flares, cut the bejesus out the reattach the flares higher up on the panel.

It looks in proportion to your jeep with the 37's.

Well yesterday I spat the dumby and went home early (shouldn't have gone to that keg party on saturday night).

So items outstanding are:

~Bump stops to be extended
~Shock mounts made up on car
~Extended brake lines (don't know where to get them)
~Transfer case gears to arrive and installed
~Raise flares and cut guards

Shane I'm planning to get a day off this week what days are you free?

I got my extended brake lines from ABS brakes just asked for 4" longer Soierra lines. Cost about $35 and took them a day to do.

Thanks grimbo, apparently the swift lines are 4 inch longer and fit the sierra. I should be able to buy them straight off the shelf. Bleeding brakes is no prob.

Did you have to extend the rear?
