alright people, what we need here, is for some one with a zook, to go out, let yuor tyres down the 3psi, and flex it up, so he can see it bagged up, then with any luck, this doofus will crawl buck under the rock from which he came....................
the test can only be done with 37s, so dont worry about trying with any other size. Show me a pic of yr 37s at 1 psi on rock .
It will differ between tyre brands as some have thicker sidewalls and are harder to bag out, requiring more vehicle weight.
I think u will find that with any size and not just 37's. how many zooks run 37's?

eg: u try get a 31 simex to bag like a AT.

cheers

It will also depend on tyre age, I am sure that there is a pic somewhere of droopypete's Zuk making a wrinkle wall of a 33 bias claw...

They are regarded as a pretty stiff kind of tyre flex up.

How about some pics of redzook's rig ?

I think you will find that noone has pics of there tires theat low because of the compromises it makes to steering. But even at 5psi you could have a 37 MTR looking like that.

Tim let one tire down and drive at an angle off the gutter.

to try a different set of tires

have a look at the tuff truck dvd disc 2 where i come up the allterrain (i think it is allterrain) look at my rear tires coming up there. there at about 8 psi and u wouldnt want them to bag anymore then that cos u only lose out on ground clearance

ohh and u better tell the top US rockcrawlers to make the rigs heavy again
most of them are only just over 1000kg and they run 40" tires
betta go tell them that will neva work

its a trick there is no way that big of a tyre will bag that much on a zook, i call photochop :)

either that or the guy is running the tires with a vacuum in them and not positive pressure

It simple to see what its caused from the right front wheel has lifted so its put more weight on the right and thus it being on a low pressure its bagged so done and done

mmmm Not sure about bein finished b4 you antt ...you had a head start

But Yes I have started on the LWB VIT buildup that ive had for a while now.......

Front end 60 series Crooza is under sitting above this a a chopped LWB Vit body down to a ( well will when its finished) extra cab albeit a wee bit different to Celias and Eugenes old comp rig) ;)

as ive kept the side rear doors but cut in half near enough .......rear is still stock at the moment ... will hopefully start on bracketry for that during next week will more than likely be triangulated 4 link .........

And it also seems at this stage that i will be keeping the Vit transfer (which already has BBM gears fitted ) and chucking a sierra case up behind this with 6.4 trailtough gears ....

Wheelbase wise it will be around 105"

And will prob run 37"s of which brand im still unsure but its between another set of 37"mtrs or 37" X 14 iroks .....see how much coin is left ova

thats all for now folks ;)
