I had mentioned to start a new club. !!! No replies to that, only got immature, smart arse remarks back to a public forum. Sort of thing you would expect from a kid!!!!! :finger: :finger: :finger: :agrue:

hehe Push me shove you! :finger:
Thats good advice pete, plan/b I don't need to do it .You guys probly can't believe but i do have friends and we can get teams together no worrys ,. :D
But for the guys my comments where aimed at that want to compete in those events and have seen them and believe there capable it is probly the best advice .
The jamboree was just a reminder to me that there are some great new rigs and drivers out there that want to compete, That probly don't get the chances through normal avenues .
Rules as you said pete , and tsl won't change ,I was at the same meeting and recieved some of the follow up the only conclusion i could make from the whole thing Was that people arn't prepared to see past there own want's, even if it is for the better of the sport. :(
One good piont was cams wasn't sliped into the equation as some poeple mentioned during the meeting.
As pos stated he competes in what ever class he can and i think most of us on here do the same ,Pos your story for xrcc is simaler to mine for TT
we didn't go there to win ,Simply to compete I think we where the only car with one locker as you were, the big bonus we didn't come last, close but not quite,But had a ball doing it. :P
The thing i want to see is the the new guys the ones we havnt seen compete get a chance to have a go .
The more that get in the bigger it all will get. :D

Dozoor's made the point there...the more in the bigger it'll get...This is what needs to happen to bring in the big names(read- sponsors)and seems to be what people would like to see.It also wouldnt hurt the sport to get some postive media hey!...POS said we need all types from mum and dad to the tube buggies...good point also....but we need to remember that somewhere between mum and dad and da rock buggies are the daily drivers that do it a little harder than ma and pa kettle..and Fourwheelin, as for BUYING and earlier model with live axle..A daily driver like a hilux xtracab to fit the kids in the back only had an ifs so the SAS is to do the harder stuff whilst keepin the rig u need.NOT buying for competition!! I'll do what im confident doing with my current ifs no matter what class but once the sas swaps done it'll still be no better than the standard live axle.

oh yeh just to keep this in the right forum...I just seem to remember that once upon a time not that long ago there WAS a class for single lockers???where did it go??

Thats all anyone can ask, drive to what you feel confident, no matter what the class.
If only everyone thought along those lines, we would'nt have the problem of some people bitching about what class they are placed into.

Stop moaning you guys

You are very lucky to have a good range of comps to choose from :!:

Over here we have:

The odd winch challenge, doesn't interest me having to drive flat out against the clock and other competitors, always in MUD MUD MUD :( :( If I wanted to go fast I'd get on the track !

There is an active trails circuit... BORING, the stages are a lesson in driving around pegs on grass paddocks !! LJ50's on 29 inch AT's rule  ( nothing against Zuks tho :D )

Doozer i agree whole heartedly , ive yet to compete and since ive dicked with my car a bit id be in a super modified class way beyond my capabilities . OK theres no difference if i were in a stock class or outlaw id still be driving the course just against bigger more capable experienced rig/drivers . no way around it either i aint ripping out the welded axle or the locker rock hoppers springover etc to compete in my ive only just started in this sport 8months ago level, as i built it to make my life (see pathetic skills) more able to go were average drivers with normal rigs can go . ok so there will NEVER be a class for non skilled drivers that are worked a bit but still its a daunting thought to think youll be competing against big rigs with well experienced drivers . spose its people like me that compete that makes you guys look so good . sorry i mean look better
any way im just rambling i love the sport!
PS competition just for fun ? if its not that serious why is everyone at each other ? CARN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG? JUST KISS & MAKEUP
if its worth doing do it intensly , better still do it with MADPASSION

NO chessy far from it , me being a narrow minded Dudelux phobic and all.
but i must say the day after posting what i said i thought why have classes ? compete for thefun of it and if you want a trophy than build a rig to suit, we carnt go making classes for everyone just so everyone can get a medal. All's i'm saying is like the tuff truck challenge allow anything and if you win great if you dont well its all for the fun and experience. may the best team win!!
