Anyone have an idea of what time the stages will start on Saturday and finish on Sunday?

Camping and facilities?

Trying to work out some logistics to fly up from Melbourne.

Gotta see if shane wants to drive up and compete or just watch :D

Are you seriously thinking of competing zach? I was put off by all the 'you've gotta be a buggy or your rig will be a write off' comments

I leave that decision entirely up to Shane as it is his jeep.
If he wants to go I will try and get the time off work and spot for him again.
I am a sucker for punishment :D

Even if we are not competing I would love to at least fly up and watch the competiton and get a first hand look at exactly what is required to win it.

In the future we plan to run two rigs between us and have one that we can use for all terrain events like tuff truck/woodpecker and another for Werock and other pure rockcrawling comps.

Or we could run one and swap the drivetrain between them for each event :D

I will definitely guarantee we will be at the Victorian Werock in either the firetruck or a buggy

...if I can get my shit together we will be competing in the FireTruck... it's relatively light and low anyway, and we'll strip it back some more to drop some more kg's, maybe add a rear winch, etc.

No way we will have a buggy ready for Bathurst, and maybe not even for round 3, but the FireTruck should hold it's own for now...

I may be wrong, but i thought they were looking at running more than one stage at a time, ie 2 or 3 stages at once.

If this is the case i can't see how a Rig could be shared between two people.

Don't get me wrong, i would love to see dave's missus compete, after all YOU must be sick of being the only female driver in the comp! :finger:   :finger:
