Got a call from the Newcastle Morning Herald today and they are sending a reporter out to have a look as well. Although i did send them some info the reporter that spoke to me actually found a write up on the event in another Newspaper(The Land).

If any one is interested in judging at this event i am short 2 judges. You get Free Entry to the event and get to be as close as you can possibly get to the action. Lunch and refreshments are provided. And the best thing is you get to have a drive of a buggy competing against all the other judges. You dont need to know all the rules as we will set you up with another judge that allready has experiance. So if your keen send me a PM with your details and i will get back to you.

On the subject...

was lookin at pirate4x4's site photos of last years finals.

http://www.pirate4x4.com/gallery/weroc_australia05

Bought back so many memories and Im sure as hell lookin forward to this comp :D :D

BTW..... be careful who u let drive your buggy:shock: (wasn't his fault)

This is what he (very close family friend) did to my buggy the day before the comp and he got pretty cut up about it.. and helped me most of the weekend which was awesome!

If you look closely.. my panhard mount and the panhard direction is parralel to my front diff... and you can work out what happened to the diff :o (ran into a tree stump)

(pic is in the link below - dont know why it wont load the photo)

http://www.pirate4x4.com/albums/album25/aep.jpg

Mick Garner gave me a hand with his oxy.. and we straightened it (still had a slight bend) and i continued on to come 5th last year  (3rd by end of sat and managed to grab first place for a short time )

I wish I could come down there and drink you blokes under the table again, but it's just too early in our season for me to get away... I look forward to seeing some of you guys out here this year! But you better get practicing with your drinking, because Tracy and I made you guys look like wankers last year! :finger:

Sorry all, we are officially out for this weekend, Ally starts a new job this week and there is completely no way that i can get the time off work right now for friday or monday. If the comp was up here or if we hadn't moved from Sydney so soon... hindsight is 20/20.

Have a great weekend and good luck to everyone and for farks sakes, NO BITCHING ABOUT THE RULES! :finger: :finger: :finger:

both. the rota needs to go into a street car so i can thrash it properly, and the frame, by todays standards, belongs in the bin.

I think you guys should be ashamed of yourselves for treating wombats in that way.

They have feelings too, you know.
