What was the first mod you did to your 4x4?

Drove my old 45 Std for a couple of months the straight to SOA then 37s then rolled and written of :roll:

OK, reading some other entries, I may have misled you all... :oops:

First mod was probably the 6 stacker for the Alpine stereo in the vehicle, followed by sheepskin seat covers. :armsup:

First trip away, I modified the rear demister to reduce current consumption - it now consumes no current at all.

if sheepskin seat covers and a fire extinguisher count then i'm guilty. it had a few mods when i got it but they were all bling bits, (sports steering wheel and the like)

old lux first mod - panel damage, then 33's

current gq shorty, straight from car yard to workshop as I had been in other patrols to know what was needed. - 5" spring lift and 33's

Cut the tow bar tongue off, turned the tow bar round, put it on backwards.
Did this because I got stuck on the tow ball in a suburban driveway, had to lock the hubs to get unstuck :oops:

Put tow bar backward so it would still protect fuel tank (LWB ZOOK)

Always planned to go to 35's as soon as my 33' muddies wear out cuz I swapped them over from my lux, 35" radial claws coming next week :armsup:

Already had spotties and all I did for the stereo was put an mp3 player in
