Look at point 2 in the vehicle classes.. hrrrmmm i wonder who they are referring to.................................. i better get some screws for that grill.

All Vehicles that compete in any of the driving events at J7 must comply with the following rules,

· They must have doors and a windscreen, and they must resemble the vehicle on the rego papers.

· They must have almost all the original panels from and including the front doors forward, basically if all that’s left of the original car is a firewall, half the chassis, and a grill that’s cable tied to a tube frame, you won’t be allowed to enter.

Doesn't sound any different to the rules used at Woodpecker or Blackrat.

Yep, they are the same rules we have used at Blackrat for the past 3 years.

There is no spectator entry for J7 the $140 includes everything, you can drive in all the events or none of them it's up to you, J7 isn't a comp like Tuff Truck or Nissan Trials etc, the idea is to come along and have a drive not spectate, I know I've said it before but even if you drive a total stocker, you will still be able to drive 90% of the tracks, they will all have sections for standard 4wds.
Also the Traction 4 club are now hosting a winch challenge as well.

So what if you have 3 adults attending but can't fit into the one car(ute) and the second car isn't able tow it, eg laser/pulsar?? Me and my mate will be driving my car and his girl will be coming too.

So if I put on my entry form that I will have 3 adults attending (pay the normal entry fee + $60 for the weekend for 1 more adult) is this acceptable??? I can't really see the point in paying $140 or $170 for a non 4wd vehicle that cannot compete, fair enough if I did have another vehicle that could compete and chose not to but being penalized for not having a vehicle big enough to either tow it or carry more than 2 people
And I know it's already been said that there is no difference to the entry fees, just trying to clarify a few points thats all.

Not saying I definitely know, but would assume they've got to be in the 'spirit' of Jamborees i.e. cover most of the wheel arch area. A 100mm strip at the top wouldn't cut it (pun intended ) if you get my drift.....

As long as you turn up in a 4wd thats registered and has atleast 3rd party property insurance and not a buggy your fine.
The rules for each track will be given out when you sign in at the event, most of the tracks will have simular rules to Woodpecker ie 3 attempts, with a 3 second count for each attempt, we'll allow stacking of rocks and logs at most of the events, the hill climb is the slowest to the top.
All the tracks bar the funkhana, winch challenge and mud enduro have different sections for each class.
The winch challenge will only have 2 tracks, one for open and outlaw and one for modified, Standard class are welcome to drive the event but there will be no track just for them.

The events finish on Sunday but you can drive all the tracks again on Monday morning.

The weekends activities There's going to be heaps to do, we are changing from the format of previous Jamboree's by having multiple events running each day.
Once you have paid to get in the gate you can drive all the events or none of them it's up to you, each vehicle can have 2 drivers and there will be trophy's for Male & Female drivers in all 4 classes.
