So let me get this straight!

Some dood came up with a Xlink...or what ever.

That same dood has been trying to market said x link on outers.

Then some other dood rips off his idea and has problems........Then comes onto the same forum with the same patented x link and wants to know how to fix it.( but its called a cranky link )

Who's the spoil sport?

WTF? Dobbins have the patent on the x-link, which isnt an original idea. Cranky cruiser made his own, and wants help with his front shaft uni's binding due to the extra flex. WTF are you reading?

Why ppl bitch for,

X-link is a great design. Well done to Chad and Glen for making a product for our trucks that works so well.

Cranky done his own with the similar design. Well done to him also. His also works very well.

I feel the only ppl who would bag cranky are the ppl that cant make anything themselves so are jelous.

Someone invented the

wheel it was copied....
A rubber tyre, again copied....
A bullbar.....
A 5 link....all copied. funny that

Replication is the highest form of flattery.

Do you have a patent for this X-link yet?

Because like Layto, I have seen this before.

So patent pending?

I personally have never seen an x link but on this forum i ahve seen what Cranky's can do!! he wont build it for me so my only option is Dobbin eng!!!! I think they are getting a lot of excellent publicity worth a lot more than the $800 they didnt get from his sale!!

Cheers

Your Right!

It has got people looking.

We hope cranky can be stockest for Xlink in tassie for us.
continuing in a slightly off-topic vein..... i hadn't really seen one until i saw Crankys.... i guess i could make one if i had time, not everybody can manufacture all their own suspension components.... we can still buy suspension parts and fit them ourselves without being branded as rich kid bolt-ons  I have PM'd Chad in the past about buying one from him, which i intend to do in the next week or 2, or maybe have to wait until after J7...... and i'll fit it myself ;) When the time comes, i'll study Rays thread about his front uni probs and use that to solve mine if i have any......

I have here 2 cardins that will fit the Patrol, would they help any binding issues? (no i haven't read the whole thread yet)

You will find that a single uni will have the same if not more angle of opperation as a double cardinal joint. DC joints are more helpful with combating vibrations.

Hey tony u will get more anglee outta a normal shaft than the double card, the double card's are good to get rid of vibration..
