Are these coarses going to be just as hard as the hill climb on the suday from the first short coarse.
Because from what i heard before the first rig tried "NOBODY WILL GET UP SO DONT WORRY ABOUT MAKING AN EXIT POINT"
hysteria has set in. panic mode is on. I just love it. just remember boy and girls I have a reputation to keep alive and strangerover will be puting up some obsticles to create fear in the minds of competitors. cricky I'm scared just thinhing about it. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I think that the best way to go from here is for everyone that is keen to be part of the first Put Up or Shut Up comp to try to get to cruza park for the practice ascc on Jan 18-19.
We can all get together and talk about the format and have a look at some of the proposed obstacles at the expo site.
I spoke to glen and for this to really work in with his ASCC format we do need to be at the expo site with the rest of the tracks. Otherwise we will just be pulling spectators away from each other.
So either we run an event at the ASCC at the expo site or we dont run one on that weekend. Glen has offered to run it (with our help) on that weekend and I think that it a great opportunity to really get it going cause there will be a shiat load of people up there and its going to be run as a feature. So I think we should make it happen.
There will still be opportunities to run it as a stand alone event and we will then be able to run some natural obstacles in different locations (and maybe on private property) but for the first one we I think we should work in with Glen cause we will get instant recognition and heaps of publicity.
For the number of obstacles that we will run we want to do about 5 or 6 on Saturday and then a big bitching one on sunday morning.
These are all going to be made so its going to take a bit of thought and a bit of work but Glens got hold of some big machinery (and some big rocks and logs) so it will happen.
Its going to be more work this way but I definately think it will be worth it.
Hey Glen i dont know exactly your plan but it loks like most of the vehicles that would have been in the ASCC open class are keen for the PUOSU so why dont we just run this basicaly as the open class but call it PUOSU.This will just make it a lot easier for those of us that would have liked to suport your event as well.
This may have allready been mentioned?

HOLY SMOKES HOW COOLS THAT
Just thought of a good way to recover a rig quickly, just keep one of those loaders near by.
When is everyone going up there!!!!
And should we post a mention of this in CHIT CHAT as some people may have lost interest in the topic!!
We should all get up there on the 18-19 Jan to have a look at the setup and make some plans (this is two weeks away)
Now the Put Up or Shut Up Comp will be on the 1-2 March so before this we have to make the obstacles and test them (drive them) to make sure they will all work. Say we run these obstacles on the saturday but put in some different approaches on the comp day to mix things up a bit. Who ever wants to come up and help build them can bring a rig to try them out to make sure they work (sombody is going to have to drive them prior to the comp) and its their good luck they will have an advantage. Im guessing it would be POS and/or v8zuki (and/or whoever else) cause they at least have got thier rigs half built.
The Sunday obstacle will be Glens special and nobody will drive it but we will all have input to how its built.
In guessing it will take a couple of trips prior to the comp to make it happen but I keen to make it happen.
Ok I am in. Also keen on helping out setting up in some way if required...
This time I promise to stop sleeping on the job so much A lot wider and a bit stiffer should help. So thats a couple so far, Who else is keen to even give it a try?????
How about you BigRed, you are always keen to add some words of wisdom, how about coming for a play..........

OK I have spoken to a few people that want to compete in this put up or shut up event and it really does look like the 1-2 March is going to be too soon to get this going cause people there are about 3 us (me bobtail and ruff) that will be struggling to get our rigs built in time (as well as helping to organise the obstacles)
Ive spoken to Glen and we wont run the PUOSH on that weekend and we will try to set it up for another day.
So on the 1-2 March we will just be competing in the short course comp in the open class. (if we have got our shiat together)
