Well what an awesome weekend.

Many thanks to all who made it happen, Glen, Matt and all the sponsors.

I have just been informed that we ended up 6th place overall, not bad for a first effort.

First thanks to my navigator, Scott who came up from Brissy especaily for the event.

Thanks to the guys that made it happen, especially Bob Hawkins from Bob Hawkins Performance, without him the little turbo would not exist and my boss from PRTS for the financial support!

And a special thanks for all the guys that travelled a long way to compete. Without you guys it would be nothing.

We came out reasonably unscathed, a broken drivers CV, broken rear bar, a few more dents.

Bring on Round 3!!

thanks also to all the townsville competitors and officials you guys put in a huge effort once again .
it was a shame matt didnt have his truck ready in time just hope it will be right for lcmp round three .
well done shane and chris on two stage wins good effort and to luke for winning vertical assault .
if i didnt have fester in with me i think we would have got up .
at least the fester curse didnt happen to me like it did when he hopped in with paul and he got 6 feet into the track and broke .
thanks again to every one involved cant wait till next round . ;)

If it wasn't for me you wouldn't have even made it to the base of vertical assault. You should be saying THANK GOD FOR FESTER'S TRACTION...
All 120 of it..

on second thoughts...if that dust was still on the side of the truck it probably would have been enough extra weight to tip it on its side

I was talking to Staiby on friday about how round 1 was awesome, and how it might never be the same. Thing is, we were right, it wasn't the same. IT WAS AWESOME!!! Where do I start...

The drinking games, does Blake have a sister, and would she be interested in Fester, Fester and his multiple personality conversation with Mitzi, the swimsuit (say no more), wooden spoons, the burnouts - that 454 of Jeffy's is still ringin in my ears, the stealth mission getting the trucks back into town and avoiding the cops... so much more, but what happens on tour stays on tour... :D

  Spose the tyres were quieter than sheety's siren at the level crossing...

Hoonz, I'll try and email it to you. That would be the 'special' bitumen stage. :D

For the record, Fester would have to be the wittiest and funniest persons I have ever met, and really genuine.

Classic Quotes:

Les Duffell - 'I'm going back to the resort for a sauna, see you tomorrow'
Fester - 'You're small enough already'

Blake - 'don't show me mum this video'

Jeff Schneider, after the 'special' bitumen stage - 'That was fun - I wanna do it again'

Fester - 'Jake if you don't come out of that swag in 5 seconds, I'm gonna squash this bacon and egg burger with me foot'

mr sheetmetal is runnin a toyota 1PZ which is a 1HZ with on less piston...yep your hearing right its a 5 cylinder diesel  and im pretty sure it has a SAAB turbo hangin off the side to help out with the ponies abit ;) the turbo has purposely chosen to be undersized as to have constant boost when needed hence his team name "WHISTLEN PIG" :D

Take the kids we do they tend to keep Fester in line as he find the higher interlectual conversations with them exhausting and at times struggles to keep up! Just keep an eye on him at "Play time" as he has a tendancy to break all his toys.
