OD has been done a few times down here. Thinking of something like white, orange or tool box blue with black bar work.

Tool box blue, kind of like that one from 4x4 monthly (otis), don't mind the colour, not sure about those flares on it though.

Purple, thats what it was, another being built near here that colour.

Lime green, would kind of blend in with the many $100 notes that have been spent on it

bigsteve - that colour turned out a treat... it looks a bit like those models you bought as a kid that were made with plastic, and you painted them with your own paint...

did you paint the rims?

Heheh Your right, like the insides of the flares (Plastic mould)

I haven't done the rims yet, probably on the weekend.

I still have 2 litres (only used less than 2) for yours :finger:

Hey Steve,

Since you have left over paint don't you think you should 45 and plate those door sills? I do recall someone mentioning that they "looked cool...do it on yours...it gets that buggy look...its cool"

mmm body trimming.....mmm plasma cutter

it's different :D not bad, definately quick!! definately would look cool with some subtle flames on the front  and will show the mud up nicely!!! :D

are u gonna have the flares attached permanently, or do ur almost-quick-release thing again?

Thanks Mate,

The flares will be removable, something to like what Greg and Droopy Pete have done which is a threaded insert. So the flare screws to a captive nut on the inside of the panel.

Sorted out bonnet pins today, went to attach the Flares and discovered I'd been clean out (probably my father-in-law) of all manner of bolts and screws, I'll chase some up tomorrow.

Just gotta attach the flares, give my rims the chrome treatment then its sorted.
