Re: Tough Tracks 4x4 Challenge Series - Sponsors

Post by Ricko »

The biggest thank you must go to the sponsors of this event. Without them, there would be no event. If you've forgetten, this is who they are, support them as much as you can as they support our great sport:

Superior Engineering
Redlands 4wd Centre
A1 Window Tinting
Great Escape Camping Co.
Ironman Accessories
Goodyear Springwood
Battery Hotline
Fourbys
Swan's Water & Tipper Hire

I hope I haven't missed someone - you are all valuable assets to the club - thank you for supporting us.

Had a great event, I hope all Challenge class competitors had a great time - see you all at The Springs for Round 3. Well done to all vehicles on recoveries too. Every car had to winch from track 1. Although a bit time consuming, there were no real issues re. techniques and safety. A big thank you to Team A1 for volunteering their brand new winch a couple of extra times to help recover other competitors.

Cheers

Well round 2 has come & gone and I hope all the competitors had a great week-end. Thanks to all the officials for their support, and to all the members (and some non-members) who contributed towards this round - including the girls in admin who process all the paperwork and the scores, sort the raffle prizes and the trophies. Thanks also to all the sponsors and to Scenic Rim for the use of their facilities.

I hope everyone in Mod Class had a great time - even poor Jason (hope you mend quickly mate). I know you all hate me - but the mud was just 'there' and it was beckoning

It's now time to start working on Round 3 which will be held at The Springs in September. Our next general meeting is this Wednesday night, with a committee meeting to be held 2 weeks later.

Peter - mod class tracks were interesting esp the mud - I like the mud - grew up driving in paddocks of mud - so understand the atttraction. We certainly had variety across the 3 tracks.

Couple of pics of the mud

Thanks to all the officials and organisers - we would not have events if not for your efforts. And thanks to the sponsors again you guys make it possible to hold the events.
