If you drive this track in November, you wouldnt be able to drive in TTC 06, as its within 6 months of the event :?:

Can someone clarify this?
not sure they will be driving the exact same tracks.

there is plenty of slab at milbrodale that is untapped.

We will get some pics with buggys on them as soon as we can all get back there. GRIP, GRIP, GRIP. Did I say there is GRIP. :!: ;)

The tracks that will be used are not the same as the TTC tracks, Most of the Rockcraling stages are alot harder. I believe that maybe a few tracks may cross over TTC tracks but this has been discussed with TTC management as far as i know!

So, if you compete at the WEROCK finals you will still be allowed to compete at TTC.

Come on people We need numbers now get with the program. Are you all web wheelers or the real deal :?: Suport your sport either compete or watch its not that hard. Im sick of all the people that talk it up and when it comes too it all we get is all the excuses under the sun not to be there. Do you want this sport too die or grow :?: Cant you afford the $10 entry (come and see me) Come on Bogged :x Its in your back yard where are YOU. All you Victorians and boarder riders you should be there, now get on the back of the konga line and back it up. The entyre town is supporting this event including the CFA even the local school.
Where are all the comp people, its gunna look pretty stupid when my missus's stocker GQ wagon wins YOU PEOPLE SHIT ME.
Yep a bit harsh but I dont care, JUST GET THERE. :finger:
NOW POST UP
Cheezy,

Settle mate.

Its only been two days since you have posted Pics of the "Intended" comp site. I think that you need to give people a bit more time than two days before you start with comments like that!

Also remember, alot of people have asked and have been asking for some time of what the date will be, now i know as well as anyone whats involved and why things like this take time, but to start bagging people before a Date is set is really a bit harsh. My partner and many other people have to request time off from work and sometimes some companies require a few months notice to allow leave to be taken. I am sure there are heaps of people (competitors and spectators) from off this site that are in this situation and without a set date cannot commit to the event.

You should also know that 80% of the spectators at many comps would not even get on this site. So maybe a focus should be made to other media outlets to attract attention to this event rather than relying on the few people that read this post.

You should also be able to work out a Competitors list pretty easily as there is now a core dedicated group emerging as regular entrants. I can count 12 teams that i know will be there without a doubt, add to this a few new comers (we all now how many buggies are been built around the traps, don't we).

I have decided to leave many of your comments unattended ie. Where are all the comp people, its gunna look pretty stupid when my missus's stocker GQ wagon wins YOU PEOPLE SHIT ME. As i am sure when you say COMP PEOPLE and YOU PEOPLE SHIT ME in the one sentence, it is no way refering anyone of the current and future Rockcrawling competitors. As its comments like that that drive people away from competing.

Also leave out the :x :x :x and put a few :D :D   in.

Cheers.

you realise that sort of attitude will turn more people away than what it will attract?
and as for stating that you are sick of people talking themselves up then coming up with all the excuses under the sun not to show up, just remember you have bailed out of things that you've said you would be attending yourself. pot/kettle/black.

i am no one of any significance whatsoever, but after reading that i won't be driving down for a look, and i am sure there would be a lot of other people who were tossing up making the trip or not, who just made up their mind.

good luck. the rock looks like it is good enough at least.

...you guys all take Cheezy too seriously... he's just stirring the pot.

I'll be competing, and bringing just about everyone I know (4 or 5 people?? hehe)... have been spreading the word on this for a while and showing vids etc to lots of people - I have quite a list asking for dates and venue so they can organize their schedules around it.

Gunna be a wicked comp... we need dates!

why october ?

that would leave only 5 -6 odd weeks between comps

why not mid september ?

nissan trials are 4/6 November

Woodpecker is late November (30 Nov last year)

thats a lot of comps in oct/nov

for both spectators and potential competitors of both genres.

Ok. I've got a bit of an idea. As POS said earlier, there isn't exactly a whole heap of "advertising" for this particular event, aside from the people who read this post. So here's the idea.....

Most of us work in retail outlets, wokshops, offices etc. etc. right??? Well how about someone knocks up a flyer, then posts the file up for download, then anybody that want to help to event/sport can download the file, print a few copies out, then put 'em up at their business' front counter, door, or hand them around to their mates and workers??

I've seen it work wonders in my little town.
