They are a group of dirty animals..
They can often be seen around events like TTC, drinking, wearing similar shirts, and trying to organise wet t shirt comps. oh and playing cards and drinking again.
last year at TTC some of the animals even had a fire that was deemed to be slightly too large by the fire department a few times.... and extinguished.
Some of them even make up signs to add to the atmosphere of the event.
If you should spot such a person, just turn and run away..... or go and introduce yourself....
Warning, even the little innocent looking ones like missforbynoob are trouble!!!

Well you all just crack me up :D :D :D

It's been nice chatting with you all. We have the blue shirts with the light blue tyre tracks down the side. It'd be great to catch up over a few beers and tell some stories at TT.

Be good

http://www.tufftruck.com.au/currentcompetitors.html

Its great that they are updating with team names but your not giving anyone a fair chance when no-one can view their profiles. Take Team 26, Team Hazzard as an example. Ive never heard of either of these guys, I know nothing about them, Possibly they have the best rig ever built but if all i can see is their name and a bad size pic of their rig then i still know nothing about them. Its all good for the teams that have entered before because they are generaly well known but its totaly unfair for the guys who are paying good money to enter this comp and are getting very little support from the team at Tuff Events.
NAIL ON HEAD Ruff.

It also would benefit the spectator. I know i get FIRED UP    when i read about the rigs and the event and cant wait to get my ass down to the event.

A decent website = more interest = more ticket sales = better Tuff Truck
So what's the story?

This really isn't a hard task to complete. Just upload the profiles and create a link. Probably about 2 hrs worth of work for someone who can't really type.

It is quite pathetic, really, that nobody at Tuff Events has managed to give the competitors the support that they deserve - and have paid for - by providing the general voting public with information about the teams.

I bet you guys aren't slack when it comes to collecting the entrance fees

Still waiting Tuff Truck commitee....................
I'm not sure who you think you are to have be told anything.......but with so many expert opinions written in this thread any committee member of TTC has no hope of satisfying anybody with answers here. However, at the end of the day obviously a response from somebody at TEP has to made. I can advise the experts on this thread that about 25-35% of what is said here is probably right and the rest is absolutely ridiculous.

Whilst we are busy getting ready for this year's event we don't use this excuse or any other excuse for non performance. I'm not willing to provide answers to all that is written here as a lot of it is so far from the truth (basing it on there being 3x sides to a story). However, if you feel that you have been given a raw deal in any aspect relating to Tuff Truck, whether it be dealing with any member or the website doesn't take your fancy etc. etc, please forward your complaint to me gregp@tuffevents.com.au or write to:
Tuff Events and Promotions P/L
ATTENTION: Greg Page

Baulkham Hills NSW 1755.

I'll provide you with a swift reply.

Tuff Truck is like any product on the market, if you have a complaint you have right to complain, we're listening. Alternatively, if anybody would like to come to a TTC committee meeting to discuss aspects of Tuff Truck that might be of concern to them, you are welcome to do so. We hold our meetings most Tuesday evenings in Silverwater, Sydney.

Podge, Im sure most of put their criticism on this forum because they knew that it would be heard here, and it has so thank you for updating the site

I'm not sure who you think you are to have be told anything.......but with so many expert opinions written in this thread any committee member of TTC has no hope of satisfying anybody with answers here.
I think there has only really been two issues to satisfy, communication with competitors and information for potential spectators. But thankyou for listening to Outers members concerns. :D

Maybe I should of emailed the TTC but I was reading the rules this afternoon ......and was reading about the 4 point harneses......that they should be fitted (which Is fine as I have 6 point but will have the 4 point for TT as I need to modify my seats to accept the other two points.......) it mentions that these should be fitted in addition to the factory items .....so I then cant remove my factory belts even though they wont be used during the comp or used AT all whilst I drive the rig as I will always have the harness on ........ :?:

Podge can you answer this or maybe some1 can clear this up ...........

I replyed here so that other competitors will also find out aswell

anyway as above time is getting closer I better get back and wrk on it

Dan, Thomas Roberts handles everything that is competition related. Whilst I know the answers, TTC policy is that section managers must provide answers to queries like the one you have raised and Thomas handles the competition side of TTC07. That way your only having to deal with one person and not getting different answers because I might interpret the rule differentally to provide a slightly different answer. He can be reached on thomasr@tuffevents.com.au or 0410090113.

I said it's not THAT kinda show Layto!!! I'll prolly come straight from the show, so rock up in full costume. Could be interesting. I reckon I could out-do Twon's suit effort from last year..

And wicked, the clothes I wear to these events means I will NEVER become "short skirt girl". Er, Sorry? (I'm not really...)
