So where did the panel damage happen? or did I miss that part?
Nah mate, this is the "fender bending" that is required to get the 'pedes under the front. They just catch the front guard near the firewall by about 10 mm or so on part lock. Just wanted to get The panel work done by someone that knows WTF they are doing (ie not me!). I could have done it myself but I'm not to "artistic" with the angle grinder and BFH.
Listen here GaryInOz, there is too much talk, either you produce some pics or you come clean and tell us that like "Azza" your only mode of transport is a BMX you got for your 11th brithday last month
SHOW US THE KIA!!!
March meeting, Suzuki 4WD Club of Vic.........

I take it that last pick is without the body lift??
I don't reckon it needs any more lift, put the body lift on the shelf until the 33's roll under it.

Yeah just took it down to South Rd/Warragul Rd corner (piles of roadbase materials) and got it as squashed and stretched as much as I could and the wheels "didn't even touch the sides".
I'll go and take a few more photos now in the daylight........

Not at this point, see how the clearance goes to the sills in the bush, even then I don't think 1 1/4" is going to make that much difference.

....and I don't think I said that either.
Any of you guys interested in Toolangi this Sunday for a christening??? See the Suzuki 4WD Yahell club for details.
grimbo wrote:you would be surpried what a difference it can make in certain circumstances. I reckon if you are going to do it because you find the sills are getting bashed I'd do it before thewy get bashed. No point destroying the panels if you don't have to

They are Centipedes. Full manufacturers sidewall description Simex Centipede MT. If you read back a few pages you yould see that I described the tread pattern as being similar to Wrangler MT/R's...................so I didn't decide to change, you decided not to read..........

The full sidewall / manufacturers description on a bogger is an Interco Super Swamper Bogger - but most people call these 'boggers'...
On the otherhand - i think you can buy Goodyear Wrangler Tyres in different tread patterns too.
For future reference - i will always describe them as "Simex MT's".
