ok heres an idea. i am currently remaking the dash gauges. i will make the templates for now. (they takes ages) i couldnt use the scanned in ones as easy because my missus just advised that once printed you would see all the pixelation. so that being the case i am now re-creating them in vector graphics so everything will come out smooth. the problem being that it takes sooo long and its all freehand tracing etc.
in the near future someone may want to put their hand up to put in a base template and drive along with a gps and mark on the blank template where 10, 20 30, etc are and then i can make it from there (i guess).
or i will just provide the base stock ratios and then everyone can do what they will..
also if anyone knows a printer or signwriter that can print onto plastic or something that would be handy also.. let me know what yas think.. back into it for me :S

Hey dude, i did these a while back, they will probably save you some time. Definetly keep it a vector in layers, when you have it cut out or printed onto vinyle of perspex they need to be in vectors, otherwise you pay them to convert it.

What i was going to do while i still had time was laser cut perspex, then screen print it. If you need a hand with any of this, maybe we can team up, because there is a fair few people that want these, including conversions and what have you. Otherwise goodluck dude.

PM me if you want them, they are in AI format

does anyone have a copy of these on there computer that i can print out to scale???

Not sure how you are trying to print them out, but if you tell your program to print them at the original DPI (or original picture size) they come out fine.

You will need to make sure your looking at the full picture from the gallery tho!

going to take them to a photographicy teacher and he will have a play with not sure how to get DPI was hoping someone would have them in word the right size already

well for starters if they are in word they will be pixelated (not smooth) and come out looking ordinary. vector graphics arent pixels and are smooth. the file format can then also be taken to a printer and they can print without needing to convert etc.
either way its your choise mate.

thanks mate. i have also made them blue faced to see how they look. i tried using your scanned in images but they ended up being slightly to large and the contrast was out.. i dont have skills to play with em so i ended up redrawing em from scratch! took many many many hours :D i had to learn a few apps to do it also.

oh test run is at the printers today so get them back tomorrow.. will do some daylight and night time pics of white faced and the blue.

replacing all the bulbs in the instrument cluster whilst i am there too.. cant hurt :D

ones without tacho are pretty much completed also. price all depends on how much the printer wants to charge me in the morning :D.. then postage.
once worked out i will let you know. PM me your post codes and ill start on that side of things also.
i am also toying with printing onto plastic but cant find a signwriter cheap enough. so far they will be on high qual matt printing paper, colour and laminated.
