Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Does anyone run engine oil in there steering pump
just wondering cos i have been using it since i had a problem with mine does it do much damage to the pump. i used 10w-40 oil

i used brake fluid in mine to swall up the rubbers so it would stop leaking
