mud and more mud

I was talking to a bloke from ceduna today and he was telling me about a farmer over that way that once a year digs this bloody great hole and then fills it up with water. he then invites all the forby guys to have a go and see who can get through. charges about five dollars a head for the weekend including camping,anybody know anything about this?
