Hi guys,would like to know if a factory turbo off a 04 model hilux will bolt up to a 98 5l? Are the manifolds the same?

completely different motor, the manifolds will not fit.

probably not. there are aftermarket turbo manifolds available however most of them use a garrett t3/4 rectangular flange and the toyota turbos mostly have a square flange, it would all be a bit hit and miss. Unless you have some pretty good fabrication skills, the cheapest and easiest way to turbo a NA motor is to buy a complete kit.

you could try ringing turbo kit manufacturers (Denco, APS, Turbo Dynamics etc) and see if they have a manifold that does what you want to do.
