RR mega mounting system

Post by dank »

What do you guys think about this sort of mounting system? I will have 4.9 trail tough with front lockrite on 30s and will prob only ever go to 31s.

just looking at options and have searched and looked at other options but this seems easy to fab up.

I made a custom beefy cradle for the transfer, worried that my series4 rockhoppers would bust it, but i accidentally warped it fatally when welding so i just welded a gusset on the OEM small transfer mount, and a small length of 13x13rhs along the bottom of the OEM long transfer mount and it has worked fine for me. Even still have origional rubber mounts in it and havent busted em.
So yeh that mount would do fine.

Get a roctoy transfer ring and booty fab it to work anyway you want.

I have gone the simple way with a length of 75X50X6 angle bent to suit original mounting points, but other have done alot better mounting directly to the chassis. I still have to get around to doing the passenger side as I've bent that mount.
