duel Alternators,

okay, gettin truck ready for tuff truck,

now,its a GQ patrol TB42 on gas, the original alt is only gunna be used for all the factory stuff like startin engine and factorylights with one battry

i have fitted a second alternator, a 100Amp item, which will be only used to charge 2 battries on my tray for the winch, and spotties

is there anything i need to do for safety, ir will i be all okay,

I presume your tray batteries are 24V? All the usual anti-chafing precautions, don't attempt to bridge your alternator outputs.

Even if it's all 12V, I wouldn't try to bridge the alternator outputs - I'm not sure how the regulators would interact.

the tray battries are still gunna output 12V, as ill be using a 12V winch, i just want to make sure that there will be no dramas, havin the 2 systems running, and i assume you can still ground to the body, or should i just ground to the battries only?

Chassis/body ground is fine. Keep the +12V alternator outputs separate.
