Engine rebuilder in Brisbane for 4.5 Petrol

I want to rebuild the petrol motor in the 80 series before i turbo it, but looking for a really good rebuilder. i want to get some head work done at the same time ie port & polish, flowed perhaps. Still runs pretty good but valve guide seals could do with doing so I'll go the whole hog, get the block balanced etc. If I'm gonna spend 7k on a turbo kit, i might as well get the engine going well too. I don't think a GEM engine will cut it.

ive spoken to patterson performance on pickering st for when mine goes pop. havent used him for anything big as yet but he has done some machining work for me and im happy with his work etc
he started his trade as a diesel mechanic but now mainly does hardcore v8's. has done a few big power diesels too
take this info as u will i guess but hed be worth droping in to see

I can't believe patterson performance is still at pickering they built my motor 15 years ago in my xd gawd it went hard and they did great work, drag cars and all ..

theyre expensive BUT PLR in brendale... seen some awsome work come out of there including a 600bhp NA clevo 351.... very knowledgable.

Brisbane Turbo and Tuning in Nile st at the Gabba are also very good
