G'day,

Was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on finding a second hand 4.2 TD GU wagon (preferably 2003 onwards) in Brisbane area. Have looked on the usual websites (ie. carsales, carsguide, carpoint) etc, and around a few yards, but there doesn't seem to be much around. Is there anywhere else people could suggest to look for one? Willing to spend up to $40K.

Cheers

4.2's are rare due to they are fantastic and people hang on to them. You can find a grenade in nearly any caryard... for a reason.

Not much you can do but be paitent, the come up occasionally, others on here havent been and regretted it.

Maybe try a car broker, usually costs you $100 but works.

Thanks mate.

There are a couple on Carsales that are around the 39K mark one of which is the TD6 it has about 70K kms and looks clean. Trouble is I'm not sure if I should look at these or wait to get a bit of a feel to see what is out there.

Is that what you would expect to pay for a factory intercooled one?

Cheers
Chris.
