Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Can anyone please email or post a photo of how to correctly fit a primer to a LG no. B2 lpg convertor.

My car takes ages to start when standing for more than a day so I managed to get a solenoid to prime the convertor.

I have fitted it, but it doesn't seem to let enough gas in the convertor when I depress the button I have installed in the cabin, yet when you depress the manual prime that lets enough gas.

If saw a diagram or photo that would help me heaps.

hi mate,

your LPG idle mixture is out, your sparkplugs are shot, your points are cactus, your leads are bad, your coil is bananas.

one, a couple or all of the above are wrong with your setup.

the priming your system gets before the safety kicks in is all it shoud lneed to start up. When you depress the button on the converter , It lets out all the gas on board the converter, ( depressurises it) this infact floods the engine.

Check your mixtures first and go from there.

However, in answer to your question, find your LPG safety cutout and run a wire from the + post and the Valve post ( the wire that goes to the lockout solenoid on the mixer) run this wire inside the cabin and hook up a momentary contact switch. This is your new primer. ( Make sure you dont use the wire that goes to the tank solenoid)
