Hi all, This question has probably been asked before but... Is there any company out there who makes CV Joints that are stronger than the factory Nissan ones? :?

Howatt Engineering in Wellington will modify GQ CV's with a steel ring around the bell to lessen the chance of the bell breaking. But it does nothing to stop the start and inner race from imploding, which I think is a more common problem.

Until Chromoly CV's start coming on line, your only other alternative is to fit a GU front diff as it has larger CV's, or CV eliminator kits from overseas.

Haltech in Queensland also produce some good quality modified GQ CV joints. We ran them last season with very good results.

I run Brenchell Hardened CV made in WA one of the strongest CV's I've found on the market, Friend had the Haultec ones in his GQ ute and broke one real easy the other day and his truck had hardly done any work, Mines done two Outback Challanges and a few other events and no problems yet with the Brenchell CV's

Who from? How much? And what do they do to them? i.e. ring around the outer, or are they Chromoly etc?

Were they the Haultec ones or Brenchell? What has been done to them? How have you found them performance wise?

Cheers
