mq to mk rear bumpstops.... and bolt on rear disks...

iv read somewhere that it can be dont but tried a search and couldnt find anything....
any info on this would be good...
i also heard omeone mention about a bolt on rear disk conversion for them aswell... but havnt heard / seen anything since...
any info on this would be good aswell..

i know te top leaf sits on my bumpstops.... this is normal for a mq right ??

but the rest ov my pack is fine, its just the one top one that curls up away from the pack...

HELL no it shouldent be sitting on the bump stop.
That also reminds me? why do some MQ/MK only have about 3-4 leafs, while mine has 8 on each leaf in the rear and 6 at the front?

because some have parabolic leaf springs and some dont. Parabolic leafs are all the same length eye to eye. So there is only need for a few leafs.

some mq/mk patrols have over ride springs these have there own bump stops n are only about 500mm long but there is a bumpstop that it above the axle tube this is the main bump stop

nastyroll thats wot i got, rear of leaf sits on a bumbstop tho there is still a main one directly over the axle. bad pics i know, but its only off my phone
this shows both the leaf bumpstop and the axle bumpstop
this is the lone bumpstop
this shows a piece of metal that has been bolted to chassie where the leaf rises up to, same on other side and same on a mates mq, so i presume its stock...
