Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Took the cover of the widscreen wiper motor (hj47) and noticed that theres an adjuster on the bottom left hand side of the wiper motor unit.
I have a very annoying sqeeking coming from somewhere inside the windscreen suround when i have the wipers on intermitant and was wondering weather this adjuster has something to do with it?
anyone know?

My 60 had a similar noise when on intermittent. Took out that little box, cleaned and wd40'd it. works fine now and no noise. Hope this helps.
