gday, some more advice needed+appreciated,

i own GQ 4.2td n/a (diesel)

my problem, for last few months the coolant in my over flow keeps dissapearing in very short amounts of time, 4-5 days. radiator always seem to stay full...

i got a new radiator cap (genuine nissan) and looked for traces of water in oil but nothing.
any one have any ideas or lead me in direction of repair......?

today i took it for a thrash to heat things up a bit, got back ppopped the hood and a few traces of fresh coolant under radiator cap lid and on hoses but very minimal?

if problem is leaks how or where do i get this checked and what kind of prices am i looking at to repair this problem?

thanks

I'd take it to a mechanic, and get the coolant system pressure tested.

if the head gasket is gone it could be going into the cylinder and blown out the exhaust.

Try this (not 100% gurantee to work but will help)

in the morning, take the cap of the radiator and start the engine

see if there are alot of bubbles in the coolant at the cap. if there is, head gasket is gone,

if it don't take it to have the system pressure checked
