35's are too big... 285x75 (33's) are too big to be legal :(

Generally 1 inch on rim and 1 inch on wheel track before engineering is required as the F*ckers from the roads authoritys in each state can defect you also, plus if you change them and have an accident,no matter what condition there in,you might not be covered. There have been cases were vehicles have been modified, had an accident, roads authority has found the car to be modified illegally and deregistered the vehicle. This is not fiction it is fact. there was a case in sydney on the northern road, high speed accident, driver a vegitable and owner of car is f*ucked paying for the rest of his life. So a $600 engineer certificate for all mods not just tyres is well worth it Cheers Paul.

as per every other thread about what is legal, call YOUR local authourities as each state is different. Also different things are legal depending on engineering, model of vehicle etc etc. Would you want to risk the legality of something based on something someone you have never met said on a forum?
