I have a jackaroo turbo, thinking of fitting it on my 100 series but this turbo is of a 4 cyl diesel how will it cope on the 6 will it run out of puff?

I don't have first hand experience, however, a mechanic I worked with recently reckons he fitted one to his 1HZ and it is excellent. He claims that it delivers full boost (he runs 16psi I think) all the way to redline and there is very little lag due to it's smaller size. He seemed to know a lot about it and convinced me it worked well. Apparently the three stud exhaust inlet bolts to the factory exhaust manifold with a simple adaptor. He ran the cooling water intake from the heater hoses and the oil pickup by placing a tee piece before the oil pressure sender, returning it through the side of the sump. I have a mate sussing one out from work for me at the moment. I had the same queries as you and would appreciate some other feedback on the subject also. The turbo I am looking at from the 4JH1 3.0L intercooled Rodeo.
