The Rocky I am doing up for my eldest daughter has a 3Y motor in it. Whats the go with upper cylinder lubricants, unleaded fuels, and these motors. the Rocky is around 20 years old, and no idea if the engine is original, or a replacement.
Cheers

Unleaded?
I have a 3y in my 4 runner and it takes leaded.
It is an 85 model.

For peace of mind David, run ULP and flashlube. It can't do any harm due to the fact cars that run on ULP can use it as a cleaning additive anyway.
If it pings, you may need to run premium unleaded, due to the old leaded being ~96RON and ULP being ~91RON.
