Will standard rad cool a 350?

I'm about to drop a 350 chev in2 a mates GQ, does anyone know if the standard 2 core rad is up 2 cooling a v8? I know u can get away wiv it in an mq coz that is allready 3 row but the GQ is only 2 row.

Because of the inlet and out let I used a new ADRAD GQ diesel radiator to cool my 302 and it works perfectly.

mate has gq 350 chev with standard radiator just ditched the clutch fan for twin thermos. works well.

I'll can get you a brand new 3 core v8 one to suit gq patrol for about $500 i just put one in mine let me know

use a commodore one if you don't go gq. mine cost $370 from holden it fits sweet as on the gq, has serviceable plastic tanks, lighter and is ally, as well as being far more reliable than a custom offering. also you can get crossover pipes if the outlets are wrong they are on gen 3 std. you will need a header tank - i used a el falcon with a 15psi cap from memory

Cheers guys, gonna try standard rad 1st and c how it goes, if no good then might have to look at the 3 core mentioned above.

my 2 core was fucked even with 3 core it gets hot in the bush end beach

I m running standard gq rad on a 305 chev and it never goes over 95 (80 is norm) even on sand and hill climbs. standard clutch fan off gq too

I've fitted a 3 core for my VH45 turbo. Testing starts ina week or so so we'll see how it handles that. (ie 550ish HP)
