I have my lux insured and registered with an A frame rear and 5 link front running 80 series diffs front and rear. As long as it's engineered I don't see a problem with rego. Just make sure it is all done properly.

Thats a great solution to the spring falling out problem people have when they get to much flex. was this your own idea or something you reproduced?

Coil hat/sliders are not in anyway desirable except for the ramp.

I think you'll find that Bacho's sliders are bolted but adjustable to give different ride heights. I first saw this idea on the old Haultech lockless buggy years ago.

The easiest way to capture the coil spring is simply some flatbar with a few bolts sandwiching the last coil wrap. Others weld on some bent tabs but they sometimes bend back and release the spring when you least expect it. Or you could always just cable tie them :D
