Does anyone have any experience or info on these tyres?

I wouldn't mind a set of these myself ... They seem to be the only decent tyres around which fit the original spec for my FC101 (My rims 16x6.5, and originaly had 36" diametre tyres)

I was quoted $570 a piece  from a BobJane in Melb.... but for that price i am considering getting new wider rims made and fit a more conventional tyre.

Let us know if you find another source at a resonable price...

OK, well I have been runnin these tyres for about 7 months now & am very happy with them.Rolling diameter { on 16 x 8 rim } is 926 mm,ie 36.5 inches & width is 255mm , ie 10 inches. Although still radials they are extremely tough tyres & have endured punishment like no other radial tyre i know could. The combination of a very tall & very narrow tyre works extremelly well in nearly all situations & surfaces. Having changed ferm 35/12.5/15 BFG's the improvement was considerable. Steering response, especially when turning in hard on bitumen, is excellent due to the stiff sidewalls, tramlining is now non existent { a big problem with my 12.5's } due to the narrow tread width. Wet road driving was a big concern, but they have proved suprisingly grippy, only letting go with a fair bit of right boot persuassion. Sand driving is now much less stressfull on my ute owing to the fact that im not pushing such large amounts of sand anymore. Letting them down to 14 psi makes the tread nice & long & they eat the dunes. Downside?, well they're pretty noisy { the price u pay ] , not as noisy as a bias ply Simex or the like, but definetly noisier than a mud terrain & the price { Michelin quoted $580 a pop}. I was lucky & picked up 4 secondhand like new tyres for $600. Oh yeah the bloke selling them swore that they were actually bullet proof & used by the Military?
