Removing sierra driver side disc/rotors

is there a trick?

I got the calipers off ok (the factory manual just giving a exploded diagram)

but a rotor which i need to replace won't budge do i need to take out the hubs?

Sometimes reading into instead of reading can be a persons mistake :D

i have the manual, it was vague, but i did double check and realise i need two 8mm bolts... so i'll go find buy a set

a quick squirt of wd40 and a few taps with a malet usually does it for me . Sometimes needs a bigger wack

After you take the caliper off there is nothing else holding it on. From memory use to hub bolt in the small holes near wheel studs. When you wind these in it pushes the rotor off.

just an update, got the disc off thi morning (trying to fit it between bus timetables is damn hard :lol: )

The two holes are described as for 8mm bolts, i guess they are refering to 'M8' because the suzuki bolt that i got to match up the thread was two 12mm size spanner bolts that went on the water pump ( spare project block)

i have to say it came off nearly instantly, to think i wasted several fair attempts with the hammer is kind of silly of me :roll:
