Mines a 87 narrow track and it doesn't have the sticker!

From memory high range is down! Neutral is down and right! Low range is down right and up!

thanks guys..
should stop me wrecking stuff anyway..
mines an 85 model lwb (sj51 i think) 1.3L 5speed.
What are the maximum speeds you can do in 4H and 4L without anything breaking?

4H - well, generally whatever what you would do on the road, but I don't tend to use H4 at all. The handling gets all wierd, and you will get ltos more drag and vibration.

Low range- I would not exceed about 4000 rpm in 4th gear. I generally don't like using 5th in low range and never have in any car I have owned. It is the weakest gear in the box, and it is too easy to spin everything way too fast.

Just my guidelines really.

Steve.
