Viscous Coupling Retrofit to HZJ105

Post by me3@neuralfibre.com »

After watching an interesting discussion on the operation of the
viscous coupling on the 80scool list, the thought occurred:

"Could I retrofit a viscous coupling to my transfer case on a HZJ105".

I am not up to speed with the mixture of transfer cases Toyota uses,
however I gather there is some variance, as the troopys get a PTO
option. In the 80 diagrams it looked like the VC as simply shoved in
there.

Does anyone know if it is a simple fit? Or what the differences are?
And whilst on Transfer cases, is it totally impossible to get a PTO
output? Or maybe put a Troopy transfer case in?

Thanx
