Hi again fellas. Got another question for yas!

Im contemplating removing the swaybar on the front end of my 02 IFS Hilux. What are peoples views on doing this on the hilux?

Im already aware of the legalities on doing it as I decided to remove it from my old Feroza and it really did make the world of difference in front end articulation. I honestly couldnt notice the difference before/after removing it on the black stuff which is where you will normally expect it to be quite rolly.

I know the hilux and feroza are totally different vehicles, hilux feels much more susceptable to rolling so im a little hesitant, would like to hear from anyone that has tried it first!

Cheers
Brad

Drop it off and go for a drive think it's only 4 bolts on the D rubbers and then the link pins or even drop the link pins out and tie the swaybar up out of the road and take it for a drive

I had mine disconnected on my lux for a while. Was alright at first, a lot more comfortable on rough roads and way better offroad but it got to feeling too rolly on the black stuff after a while. I reconnected the links a while back and the suspension still feels really rolly now but only if I push it hard.

If you disconnect your links and just push the bar up outta the way your wheels might rub on the bar a bit at full lock.
