I've had a slight change of plans
Got sick of waiting for the Vitara Halfcut so I brought SnakeZooks rig off him
'85 ST, GTI bottom end and 1.3 Zuk topend, 33x12.5, SOA,Rancheros, 3" body lift, Snake Hi steer, rock rods, series 3 hoppers and welded WT diffs with birfield rings on the front.
The catch was it's got a defect notice

Swapped the motor from the White ST into the black HT (SOA with 31x10) to get me back on the road
So now the ST has all but an engine (and windsceen) if I get a Vitara 1600 and auto (halfcut still on order), add a 4play divored transfer kit....
I got a daily driver and a comp/fun truck
Damn Zuk, six months ago they were toys now I own three (and a Triton and a Commo, time to rationalise)

What pistons are in the bottom end?

Twin cam with the 'centre ridge' between the the two valve recesses machined so the single valve misses
Goes well exept for the slipping clutch ATM (will adjust when the rain stops)

I looked at it when he had 6k on it but I couldn't justify that much for it but its a good rig.

Just one question why not strip it out and make some cash ?

The black one in no slouch itself
SOA 2" Shckles , like to get a stocker and line all three up

Another option for the ST is to put the 'Big Block' Mitsubishi 2.6l out of the Triton (recoed 50k ago) and mate it with with a Sigma or Starion auto box

Just read the Mystery Shift/Twin stick thread.
I got three transfer cases for two trucks so one will probally cop the twin stick
