Tyres have nothing to do with the equation, he may have 44" swampers on it but the diferance between the 2 diffs is going to be the same.

my understanding is that 4.6's take it back to std with 31's and 5.1's take it back to standard with 33's.
But thats on a 1.3L Transfer.

My speedo was calibrated with 1l case & 31's with 3.9NT centres. When doing 100km on speedo it was 100km on gps. Ive since put 5.12's in and when gps is on 100 speedo sits on 120km.

I'm running 5speed, 1ltr t/case and 31muds atm (will go to 33 when they are wornout) and 5:12 diff gears .
And yeh they are what im looking at buying. have a few mates in shep and they think they know who is sellin them.

I think the cheapest easyest option would be new T-case gears.

lux diffs maybe on the next suzi but this one will stay suzuki as far as posible. diff gears will be a heap cheaper than tranny gears for me to diy
