wheels past guard

I have a 82 mq swb with 31x10.5x15 tryes, if you look down the side of the vehicle from behind the tyres on the lefthand side protude past the guards (front and back) by 30mm, while the righthand side is only about half that distance. i have checked the distance with a straight edge to the hubs on all wheels and they are the same distance, I also checked the distance from the ubolts on the diffs to the brake drums and that distance is the same, so I dont have any offset rims or out of alignment diff housings. All the tyres are the same brand and size and all fitted at the same time. It looks really weird and I was hoping someone may be able to advise me about how to fix this.
thanks and hop to hear from you all

hi ozy 1 how can i check the body alignment, I thought that if the springs where an equal distance on both sides then the body would line up through the shackle ponits connecting the body to the springs

approximate sizes. If you have 30mm one side n 15mm other the cabs only 8mm ofset one way thats not much between body mount miss-alignment and suspension movement I'd put flares on it n not worry to much, aslong as the mq mech sound

Hi Adam I checked the wheels and they are all the same, I checked the body alignment with the chassis, same on both sides front and rear, checked the ubolts and distances to the backing plates, all equal. The only other thing that I have not had a look at is a broken main leaf in the front righthand leafspring ( she sags abit on the rh side ) maybe that is causing the left side to protrude more because the tyre is further away from the top of the wheel arch. I cant think of any other thing that it might be all the measurements come up equal

yeah those little bits of info sometimes help. A broken spring will of course throw a lot of things out of alignment and be dangerous. Also sagged springs will cause this too. How long has the spring been broken? Do you know how it was broken, is anything else busted too?

hey grimbo, It dont look like the spring is broken but the right side is sagging a little bit i think thats the cause ( musta been some big mutha in the drivers seat)
