Identifying a 4.5" rubicon lift

Hi all!

I'm looking at a XJ cherokee which is meant to have a 4.5" rubicon lift, how do I know it is the real thing? (The shocks are plain white, no stickers, but they do have something like 'made in USA' stamped on them.

The shocks in the Rubicon kits are optional so that wont help. Here's what's in the kit from the US (If you go with a full leaf pack and not an add-a-leaf) Aussie suppliers do change stuff to suit our RHD though.

What colour are the coils?
There's SFA to really distinguish them - but copil is a start...

The springs are a light-ish grey... The leaf springs have "RPN 390" stamped on them, and a spacer block between them and the axle... that spacer block and the leaves don't look like the kit on the Rubicon Express website - the leaf pack looks quite flat. Could a discontinued Rubicon Express lift kit have come with spacing blocks??

Is there a simple way to measure the lift without having a standard one to compare? I've been told that 33" wheels have been used on the vehicle before, so it's got to be quite well over the standard height.

Wooders, what is "SFA" and "copil"???

Measure from the centre of the wheels to the bottom of the flares. Stock is 17.5" in the front and 17" in the rear. If it's had 33" tyres on it though the flares may have been modded as with the swaybar disconnected they will eat the guards and flares in the stock location.

Copil - Bad spelling of coil or possibly some new technical word Wooders has come up with for identifying RE lift kits
