Where is the best place to go for Maxi Drive axles (1994 Defender)? Heard that Fred Smith Automotive is solid.

mine were done by fred smith before i purchased the vehicle, only heard great things about him.

Not sure where you are but JacMac in Melbourne is another option you could check out.

JM is cheaper for locakers I think, and they are easier to fit. Likewise for axles I thinks, but not by much. Customer relations are more interesting at JM!!! Bite your tongue
