Aftermarket transfer gears

I've found both Marks (Gearmaster) and Big Balls (Rockhopper) aftermarket transfer gears. Both give you enormous reduction in low (3.7xx :1) but in hi stay 1:1 . Why is that? Do any company offer aftermarket gears for GQ transfers in both hi an low?

nope. Most people still use high range as it is. What do you do that you need a lower high range?

I may get the terminology wrong (and I sure I'll be rudely corrected) but my understanding is the high range is "straight through" drive in the transfer case, there are no gears to replace with a different ratio like the zook transfers. Only the low range gears get replaced in the patrol transfers, hence on the low range changes.

Thats rite low range runs on a lay shaft n is only activated when lever is pulled seperate shaft to hi range

Right now I've got 4.62 R&P and going to use 37" tires, so I'll be a tad undergeared. If those gears something like 10% reduction in hi, then I would have something around 4.9xx It's definetly cheaper for me than having to buy 4.88 gears and then the Gearmasters/Rockhoppers.
So it's not a design issue? I mean, it is not impossible to device both hi and low range reduction for GQ transfers?

4.6 gears with 37's in not under geared.
99% of people run 4.1's up to 35's and may consider 4.3's with 37's.
id love to reduce my low range by about 1 gear. but even if i was to step up to 37's id still only jump to 4.3's as mine cruises even in soft sand effortlessly
and does 2100 at 100kph in 5th.
mab u need more power if u are having issues in high range
