if you want to know what std bumpstops look like .. the bump stop is in the top left corner of this pic (pic c/- kranked_dirt)

oh ok then...when a shorty is stock dose the rubber bump thingy sit on the metal below it of dose it sit above it?
P.S user name "shorty forty's" pic looks alot like mine same blue

it should sit below it as in that pic..
when the diff moves up and compresses, the bump stop stops the diff instead of the shock stopping the diff (cos teh shock can only compress so far).. .. so for all bumpstops front/rear they have the rubber on the end... i think the rear has the metal bit so that its lower cos the chassis curls up..
either way it should go (top to bottom):
[chassis rail]
(maybe bracket)
[rubber bumpstop]
(nothing)
[diff]

also it should have some clearance there when sitting on flat ground, a couple inches at least

unless like me you have an old mq where the rear bumstop sits on the top leaf
top leaf curls up a LONG way from the rest of the pack to sit on it, gives a realy nice HARSH ride and sweet fa flex, but carries a load like nobodies business
