Here in the U.S. a throttle body gasket is over $16.00 and a egr gasket unobtainable, at least as far as I can tell from my searches. Anybody have a suggestion on what I can use. Gasket paper, paper bag, cereal box, etc. Thanks in advance....

IMO gasket paper is the best for both, wipe a little oil on the flange, press the paper on then remove and voila you should have the shape visible.
A few minutes with scissors and your there.
Avoid silicone anywhere near surfaces that could get fuel on them, it will
soften and come off

gasket paper and a small ball peen hammer. place gasket paper on item and tap with the hammer the shape into the paper, does bolt holes etc. cuts it out nicely.

Yep that's a trick a mechanic friend taught me too, works very well!

Don't like hammering on alloy surfaces, better on iron or steel - but done gently it definately works.

with 0.8mm gasket paper you dont have to tap it very hard, i use the rounded end of the hammer head.

also, do i need any kind of sealant or is just the gasket ok?

proper gasket paper should seal fine, but i'm a big fan of Hylomar spray. i use it on all my gaskets and sometimes dont even use a gasket and just use Hylomar by itself.
